Rangers and Celtic players named in SPFL TOTW
Rangers midfielder Greg Docherty and Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney have been named in the SPFL’s team of the week.
Docherty made his first Ibrox start in a 2-0 win over Hearts on Saturday following his move from Hamilton last month and ran the show in central midfield alongside Sean Goss.
Tierney scored the second of the Hoops’ two goals in their 2-0 win against Aberdeen at Pittodrie 24 hours later.
The accolade was confirmed by the SPFL’s official Twitter account on Tuesday.

Docherty has impressed for the Ibrox giants since his arrival from Hamilton as he looks to nail down a regular place in Graeme Murty’s starting XI.
The 21-year-old is likely to be involved when Murty’s side take on St. Johnstone in the Scottish Premiership on Tuesday night as they look to close the gap at the top of the table to leaders Celtic to six points.
The former Hamilton midfielder has made six appearances so far for the Light Blues, with three of them coming from the bench.
During his time at Hamilton, Docherty made over 100 appearances for the New Douglas Park side as he established himself as one of the best young midfielders in the country.
Docherty has represented Scotland at Under-17 and Under-21 levels but is yet to be involved with the senior squad.
