Injury expert suggests Roofe comeback date after major Rangers update
Kemar Roofe could return off the bench for Rangers in tomorrow night’s (1 December) clash with Hibernian.
So says injury expert Ben Dinnery, who runs the Premier Injuries site and has a background in medicine and data analysis.
Roofe has not featured for Rangers since 7 November after sustaining an ankle injury while away on international duty with Jamaica.
But new Rangers boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst revealed in his press conference on 29 November that Roofe was “on the training pitch today”.
Rangers will be looking to avenge their recent 3-1 defeat to Hibs in the League Cup semi-final when the two teams meet tomorrow night.
And Dinnery claims that the 28-year-old striker could have a part to play in the 1st against 6th clash at Easter Road.

“I think it is enough time for him to be on the bench,” he told Football Insider correspondent Adam Williams.
“He hasn’t had a significant time out on the sidelines, so deconditioning and sharpness shouldn’t be a major factor.
“I fully expect him to be in and around the squad. Would I expect him to come straight into the starting XI? probably not, but you can’t totally rule it out.
“He hasn’t spent a massive amount of time on the sidelines so I don’t anticipate there will be any huge issues.“
Roofe has netted nine times in 18 matches across all competitions this season.
He will be looking to better his tally of 18 goals in 36 appearances in Rangers’ spectacular 2020-21 campaign.
