Josh Windass aims hilarious Twitter dig at Rangers team-mate

Rangers attacker Josh Windass has hilariously poked fun at Ibrox team-mate Jason Cummings by offering to book the on-loan striker in for English lessons.

Glasgow’s Live Language English school had tweeted offering free classes and the 24-year-old shared it and offered to sign the Edinburgh-born striker up.

“I’ll book you in mate,” Windass said on his personal Twitter account, and tagging the former Hibs star.

Cummings has a reputation as joker within dressing-rooms and will no doubt have taken the joke in the manner it was intended by the former Accrington star.

Windass has been one of the Gers’ top performers so far this season with 17 goals to make him the club’s joint-top goalscorer with Alfredo Morelos.

The 24-year-old recently signed a new contract at Ibrox to keep him with the Glasgow giants until 2021.

Windass and Cummings seem to have struck up a strong friendship quickly and the banter between the pair is a sign of a strong camaraderie in the Gers’ dressing-room. The Light Blues squad seem to have a strong spirit with players getting on well on and off the pitch. The pair seem to be the dressing-room jokers at Ibrox – along with James Tavernier and will no doubt have more playful shots at each other on social media. After reading some of Windass’ tweets though, the 17-goal attacker could probably do with joining Cummings at English lessons.
