Nimble footed and energetic, the 29-year-old has formed a solid understanding with Tavernier on the right flank and has started all four of the team’s league games so far. Candeias will be crucial to maximising the penalty box presence of Alfredo Morelos and Eduardo Herrera, and must provide deliveries as accurate and defence-destroying as that memorable free-kick against Dunfermline in the Betfred Cup. Has the added advantage of offering a threat at set-pieces with his ability to put the ball where he wants.
