Rangers strongest XI: Caixinha favourite axed, Scottish Lampard among multiple summer signings
Aaron Nemane (left wing)
Caixinha has used favourite Josh Windass as his first choice on the left wing this season, but the 24-year-old has looked a square peg in a round hole after an encouraging showing at Motherwell. By contrast, Nemane, signed on a half-season loan from Manchester City, has the skill-set to offer a completely new dimension to a one-paced midfield. Mobile, super-quick and tricky, he can beat defenders on the outside rather than just predictably cut in, as Windass and Niko Kranjcar will do. The signing of new director of football, the 19-year-old offers the potential for something completely different. He could make a big difference as the season progresses.
