Rangers tipped to sell Patterson for ‘£10m plus add-ons’ after Everton transfer update – expert
Alan Hutton has suggested Rangers could cash in on Nathan Patterson for “£10million-plus” in January amid reported interest from Everton.
The former Gers defender and Rangers TV pundit, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, insisted an eight-figure fee may be enough to tempt the Glasgow giants into selling the 20-year-old.
As reported by the Athletic (24 December), Patterson would be open to discussing a move to Everton after growing frustrated with his lack of game time.

The Toffees have reportedly remained in pursuit of the right-back after failing with a move this summer.
Hutton insisted Patterson’s talent and potential is “there for everyone to see”.
However, he admitted a substantial offer could see Rangers let the promising defender leave Ibrox next month.
Hutton told Football Insider’s Russell Edge: “We’re talking £10million-plus. He’s not playing, it doesn’t look like Tavernier is going to go anywhere anytime soon.
“I think you’re looking at probably £10million plus add-ons. I know he’s not held down a regular place in the Rangers team but we’ve seen, given the opportunity, he can play at a high level.
“He’s played in European competitions, he’s an international player. Obviously, what he can become in the future, the talent is there for everybody to see.
“That’s probably about the price I’d be looking at.”
Patterson has struggled to usurp club captain James Tavernier at right-back this season.
The youngster has started six times in his 11 appearances for Rangers this season.

His performances earned him a first call-up to the Scotland squad back in June.
He has six international caps under his belt so far.
