Rangers told to ‘remove’ John Bennett after what he just said – fans react

Rangers fans have been left raging at chairman John Bennett after the club released an interview addressing the ongoing issues behind the scenes.

It has been a turbulent summer for Rangers so far, with the redevelopment of Ibrox behind schedule and the lack of activity in the transfer market.

The beginning of the season will be spent playing home games at Hampden Park, while Philippe Clement has confessed every player in his squad is up for sale.

As a result, frustration has continued to build amongst the supporters with their anger aimed towards the board, and Bennett’s latest interview has done little to cool tensions.

In a video lasting over 20 minutes, the chairman attempted to address the problems and frustrations, but fans are insisting it was a waste of time.

Football Insider previously reported that Rangers fans had been calling for the board to sell the club amid anger at the Ibrox delays.

That anger has not subsided, with supporters continuing to echo the calls for the chairman to leave after a disjointed pre-season campaign in Glasgow.

After the video was shared to social media, fans flooded the replies with anger, insisting Bennett “isn’t fit to lead” the club, while the interview was labelled “embarrassing” and “woeful”.
