Rangers transfers: Ryan Jack hints at Turkish move with new message

Rangers released Ryan Jack at the end of last season and he has since received an offer from Turkish club Erokspor.

The 32-year-old central midfielder was among a number of high-profile players who the Glasgow club decided against renewing.

John Lundstram and Borna Barisic both joined Turkish club Trabzonspor after departing the club they won the Scottish Premier League in 2020-21.

Turkish journalist Ertan Suzgun is reporting that Jack has received an offer from the Istanbul-based second-tier side.

Jack had been an integral player for Rangers since joining from Aberdeen back in 2017, making 210 appearances across all competitions, 171 of which were starts.

Alongside the 2020-21 Scottish Premier League title, the Scotland international won one Scottish Cup and two Scottish League Cups during his tenure.

The midfielder took to Instagram to share his admiration for Turkey with a picture of a beautiful coastal scene.

Rangers currently sit five points against Old Firm rivals Celtic after just four games following their 3-0 defeat in their first meeting of the season.

Philippe Clement will be hoping to put that behind them as they face an away trip to Dundee United in the only Scottish Premier League game on Sunday, September 15th.
