Scott Wright ‘not good enough’ for Rangers – Kenny
Scott Wright is a decent Scottish Premiership footballer but “not good enough for Rangers”.
That is according to ex-Premier League goalkeeper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the 24-year-old winger.
Wright started on the substitute’s bench for Rangers once again on Saturday in their 1-0 hard fought league win against his former side Aberdeen.

It was the eighth consecutive Scottish Premiership match he has failed to get a minute of action since starting the 1-0 win over Livingston on 26 January.
Wright has consistently struggled to get in the Rangers team since signing from Aberdeen in January of last year.
He is one of many signings during the reign of Ibrox director of football Ross Wilson that is being questioned by supporters as the club struggle to match their domestic standards of last season’s title-winning campaign.
Kenny agrees that Wright has much to do in a Light Blues shirt.
“Is he good enough for Rangers? I’m not convinced, no, I don’t think he is,” Kenny told Football Insider.
“Good Scottish Premiership player who you can rely on to do a good job, but at Rangers you a bit more.
“When you look at players like Ryan Kent and Joe Aribo, there’s no chance of Wright starting ahead of them.”

Wright has made 38 appearances for Rangers, many as a sub, and they have yielded five goals and three assists.
That includes 25 matches this season, which includes just six Scottish Premiership starts and only one in their hugely impressive Europa League campaign.
In other news, Rangers “will get loads of money” after “huge Ibrox development”.
