Raphinha ‘has no loyalty to Leeds’ and tipped to sign for giants in January after transfer update – pundit

Raphinha will not stay at Leeds United if Chelsea or Bayern Munich attempt to sign him in January.

That’s according to former Leeds United stopper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider insists the player will ask to leave should a bid arrive.

Raphinha, 25, has earned much praise and become a key player since signing for Leeds in the summer of 2020.

There has been much speculation over the attacker’s future, with the likes of Bayern Munich and Chelsea reportedly interested ahead of January.

Kenny insists Raphinha has no loyalty to Leeds and will jump at the chance to leave the “struggling” club.

“If that offer comes in I would be very surprised if he stayed,” Kenny told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.

“No disrespect to Leeds but I’m not being funny, you don’t turn down Chelsea or Bayern Munich.

“I can’t see anyone turning them down. Bayern will guarantee you trophies and Chelsea always challenge.

“Leeds are struggling and if that chance to move comes I can see him wanting to leave.

“He has no real loyalty to Leeds, he’s only been there 18 months or so.

“He’s Premier League proven so you can see why those two clubs are interested.

“There is also the fact that he’s crazy talented so he’s a really attractive prospect.”
