Rashford, Onana react to Antony’s message as Man United exits loom
Marcus Rashford and Andre Onana reacted to a message from Man United’s seemingly exit-bound winger Antony.
The trio have been heavily linked with an exit from Old Trafford this summer for various reasons.
The Cameroonian shot-stopper has struggled since joining from Inter in 2023, and former Red Devils chief scout Mick Brown exclusively told Football Insider United plan to accept offers for Onana to fund the signing of his replacement.
Rashford, meanwhile, continues to angle for a switch to Barcelona, but a move to the Catalan giants has been complicated by their interest in signing Nico Williams.
Antony has interest from Bayer Leverkusen, and a move to Germany would see him link up with former United manager Erik ten Hag, who was appointed to replace Xabi Alonso at the BayArena this summer.
The Brazilian winger enjoyed a complete turnaround in form and reputation during a stint on loan with Real Betis last season.
But the Spanish side will struggle to complete a deal to sign Antony permanently, despite making him their top priority this summer [Diario de Sevilla].

Antony shares message amid uncertain Man United future
Whilst United may be keen to move Antony on this summer, there has been little by way of concrete activity since the transfer market reopened on 16 June.
The Brazilian winger shared a video of himself working out in the gym on Instagram with the caption: “Focus On Our Goals”.
The post was liked by Rashford and Onana, showing their support for their teammate.
Man United may want to give Antony one last chance
Football Insider Verdict
Antony, Jadon Sancho, and Rashford spent time out on loan last season in a bid to audition for potential suitors this summer.
United are keen to put a miserable season behind them and the club have already been active in the transfer market, signing Matheus Cunha from Wolves.
Rashford’s relationship with Ruben Amorim seems damaged beyond the point of repair, and Sancho’s performances were hugely underwhelming.

But after his season on loan at Betis, United may want to take their time with making a decision on Antony’s future.
The winger scored nine goals and assisted five on his way to becoming a fan favourite in Seville.
Antony’s wages and performances in the Premier League remain an issue, but if there is a chance that United can find a way to instil the confidence that led to his remarkable performances in Spain, they may be tempted to hang on to the 25-year-old.
