Rasmus Hojlund shares Patrick Dorgu message as Man United exit rumours intensify
Patrick Dorgu received a loving message from Rasmus Hojlund over social media as the striker continues to be linked with an exit from Man United.
The full-back joined on a £30million deal from Lecce during the winter [Sky Sports], while the latter arrived from Atalanta two summers ago, and the duo have had contrasting experiences at Old Trafford.
Football Insider understands that Man United are already targeting Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins as a replacement for Hojlund, who managed just 10 goals across all competitions last season.

With Matheus Cunha already signed and the Red Devils closing in on a deal for Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo, many supporters believe this could be the end of the 22-year-old’s spell at the club.
That has clearly not stopped the misfiring striker from creating and maintaining bonds at Old Trafford, with the smiles between him and Dorgu there for all to see in his latest social media post.

Ruben Amorim needs summer transfer window at Old Trafford
Football Insider verdict
Ruben Amorim is already under pressure at Man United, with 17 defeats from his first 42 games in charge, but it feels unfair to judge until he has a summer transfer window under his belt.
Having only arrived in November, the 40-year-old had very little time to bed in at Old Trafford before the winter transfer window swung open, with Dorgu and Ayden Heaven being his only two signings.
Of course, Sir Jim Ratcliffe‘s cost-cutting measures, many would imagine that funds are difficult to find for the Red Devils, but transfer links would suggest otherwise.

Football Insider understands that Man United are set to be hit with more drastic cuts, with wage cuts expected over the coming weeks, but that has not stopped the transfer business.
Selling the likes of Hojlund, Tyrell Malacia, Mason Mount, and Alejandro Garnacho would certainly free up funds, with multiple new signings needed if United are to improve next season.
The Red Devils finished 15th in the Premier League table, lost the Europa League final to Tottenham, and generally struggled across all competitions under Amorim’s leadership.
