Raul Jimenez and Moises Caicedo react as Willian sends message over Fulham exit
Willian has sent an emotional message after confirmation about his Fulham future was issued with Raul Jimenez and Moises Caicedo among those to react.
The winger first joined the Cottagers in the summer of 2022, and spent the next two seasons with Marco Silva‘s side.
After intially leaving at the end of the 2023/24 season, Willian then rejoined Fulham in February this year, after a brief spell in Greece with Olympiacos.
The Brazilian had only signed a contract with the club until this summer, and clarification has now been issued over his future.

Willian reacts as exit confirmed
Back in April, it was reported that Willian was keen to remain in England and potentially with Fulham, and so had rejected offer from other clubs abroad.
It has though now been confirmed that the winger will leave Craven Cottage at the end of this month, when his contract expires.
That is in contrast to some other individuals, with Fulham still in talks over a new deal for Tom Cairney, amid interest in him from Wrexham.
Meanwhile, taking to Instagram to reflect on his own departure from the club, Willian wrote: “Thank you so much Fulham FC. I’ll always be grateful”.
In response, the winger’s Fulham teammates Jimenez and Sasa Lukic showed their support by liking that post.
Caicedo, who currently plays for one of Willian’s former clubs and a local rival of the Cottagers in the form of Chelsea, also did the same.
Fulham exit call could be sensible
Football Insider Verdict
There are likely to be a fair few around Craven Cottage who will be sad to see Willian depart the club this summer.
Across his two spells there, the winger has seemingly turned himself into a popular figure with the Fulham fanbase, and in the dressing room.
During his second spell with the club in the latter half of this season though, his influence on the pitch has looked to be rather more reduced.
At 36-years-old, the Brazilian is coming towards the end of his career so that would be unlikely to change, and the chances of netting any fee in the future seem remote.
With that in mind, it could be argued that a new contract for Willian would not be the best use of time and funds for Fulham, when they could otherwise focus on investing that into other potential signings.
