Real Madrid ready to listen to £43m+ Eduardo Camavinga bids as Liverpool line up summer deal

Liverpool are eyeing up a potential deal to sign Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga this summer, sources have told Football Insider.

The Spanish giants are willing to listen to offers in excess of the £43million mark for the Frenchman, with the Reds seen as long-term admirers of his ability.

Several Premier League clubs are set to be interested in a deal for the 23-year-old if Real Madrid open the door for him to leave, with sources indicating that he is seen as having the ideal skillset for the English game.

Los Blancos will not force the starlet out ahead of next season, and any chance of a deal is likely to hinge on whether Camavinga himself is keen to pursue a new challenge.

Liverpool’s transfer plans are already in place ahead of the summer, but the potential availability of the former Rennes man could yet see a move for him on the table.

Real Madrid want return on Eduardo Camavinga investment

Camavinga had interest from clubs all across Europe when he first joined Real back in the summer of 2021.

The La Liga side parted with a fee of around £34m to win the race for his signature, but his level of gametime has slipped a little in recent seasons.

He has started just 12 games in the league this season, while having also managed just 11 last term, as he has seemingly fallen victim to the unprecedented quality within the rest of the squad.

Alvaro Arbeloa has a wealth of world-class options available in the middle of the park in the likes of Federico Valverde, Jude Bellingham and Aurelien Tchouameni, and that has often seen Camavinga’s starts come on the left as a result.

Real are now potentially willing to let him go this summer, and they are looking to recoup their initial investment on the younger, as well as a little extra in terms of the transfer fee.

It remains to be seen whether a move will ultimately come to fruition ahead of next season, but Liverpool are likely to be one of the leaders of the pack if a transfer could be on.

Liverpool learn Adam Wharton pricetag amid midfielder search

Football Insider recently revealed that Liverpool will need to pay £70m if they want to sign Adam Wharton from Crystal Palace this summer, given that the Eagles not keen on the idea of selling their star.

The Reds are in the market for a new centre-midfield option ahead of next season, while Wharton is on the radar of several members of the Premier League’s elite after his rapid rise in recent years.

Camavinga is another likely target, and would potentially be available for almost half the price of the England hopeful.

Both are likely to be targets for some of Europe’s top clubs, and the Merseysiders could find themselves firmly in the mix for at least one of them.

A race is likely to develop to try and secure Camavinga’s services, and Liverpool’s long-term interest could finally be satisfied.
