'Really grown' - Exclusive: Hutton drools over 'Excellent' Rangers player who started today
Alan Hutton showered Rangers midfielder Ryan Jack with praise and admitted the 27-year-old has really grown into a leader for the club.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider correspondent Laura O’Leary, the ex-Gers defender shared that he thought Jack had been excellent for a number of months.
The central midfielder started the Gers 2-0 win over Motherwell on Sunday in order to make his 11th league appearance of the season.
Hutton explained that you could see how Jack had transformed into a leader as he was now the player who held Steven Gerrard’s side together.
“Ryan Jack has been excellent for a number of months and he does hold the Rangers team together,” Hutton told Football Insider.
“He has really grown into a leader.”

Jack has regularly featured for the Gers this season with him playing 26 times across all competitions.
In those outings, the midfielder has racked up five goals as well as registered three assists.
Jack established himself as a mainstay in Gerrard’s side in the 2018/19 campaign with him making 46 appearances across all competitions.
The Scotland international has been at Ibrox since July 2017 after joining from league rivals Aberdeen on a free transfer.
Jack has made 94 appearances for the Gers and is contracted to stay with the club until 2023 after signing a contract extension in October.
