Reason revealed why four Man United stars were not in training ahead of Liverpool clash
Man United will already be fearing the worst for their trip to champions Liverpool this weekend, and even more so if they are without four key players.
Ruben Amorim has been backed by Sir Jim Ratcliffe, but the Man United manager remains under close scrutiny.
Man United beat Sunderland 2-0 to earn an important win before the international break and lift the Red Devils up to 10th in the Premier League table.
Having not won back-to-back games under Amorim, Liverpool at Anfield will have been the last destination Man United will have wanted to have travelled to this weekend, and there has been an update on four stars before the match.

Quartet rested before Liverpool clash
Man United fans will have noticed that Bruno Fernandes, Matheus Cunha, Amad Diallo and Casemiro were all not spotted in training before the Liverpool match.
However, as per BBC Sport [16 October], Amorim gave those players an extra rest following international excursions.
The quartet are all fit and expected to play a part in the Liverpool game, which is a boost for Amorim.
In particular the importance of captain Bruno Fernandes means Man United cannot afford to be without the midfielder.

Liverpool have own problems before Man United test
Arne Slot also has his own issues to resolve before Man United travel to Merseyside, with two blows over the international break.
Ibrhima Konate withdrew from the France squad, and Ryan Gravenberch picked up an injury with the Netherlands.
Slot already has number one goalkeeper Allisson out following an injury sustained against Galatasaray, and Giovanni Leoni is out for the season.
With a lack of depth at centre-back, any more injuries will become a crisis for Slot, whilst he also needs to resolve the form of stars like Milos Kerkez, Florian Wirtz and Alexander Isak.
Man United may head to Anfield, a stadium they have not won at since 2016, with more chance of points than expected.
