Redknapp reveals major Tottenham concern this season
By Dominic Toner
Jamie Redknapp believes that Tottenham could be in serious trouble if they lose Dele Alli or Harry Kane to injury this season.
Spurs recorded a seventh straight win across all competitions on Saturday and the two attacking players have been crucial to their success.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side completed a 4-0 home victory against West Brom in the Premier League, with Harry Kane scoring a superb hat-trick.
The north London club have now moved up to second in the Premier League table and have emerged as serious title contenders this season.
Sky Sports pundit Redknapp feels that Spurs have improved from last season, but are still lacking the depth in their squad.

“The only worry is if they were to lose [Dele] Alli or [Harry] Kane, because they haven’t got someone to step in and fill the void of those goals,” Redknapp said, as quoted by Sky Sports. “But Tottenham are in a great position, they have got players signed up on long contracts. They are playing better than last season.”
Kane has been in sensational form this campaign as he spearheads the club’s attack, scoring 15 goals in 19 appearances.
The 23-year-old showed his quality in front of goal in the victory over West Brom and has managed to recover from an ankle injury during the early stages of the season.
Spurs’ attacking midfielder Alli is also showing his best form this campaign, scoring 11 goals and supplying five assists in 27 appearances.
Pochettino would have to turn to some of the other attacking options in his squad if he encountered an injury, with the likes of Heung-Min Son and Vincent Janssen waiting in the wings.
In other Tottenham news, Graham Roberts has hailed the club’s player as top-class.
