Regis Le Bris absolutely robbed after Premier League announcement, Sunderland fans will be fuming
Regis Le Bris should be completely dumbfounded after the latest Premier League announcement ignored Sunderland’s recent accomplishments.
Sunderland beat Chelsea 2-1, which saw them rise to fourth in the Premier League table, coming from 1-0 down thanks to goals from Wilson Isidor and Chemsdine Talbi, which came in added time.
Leeds United supporters are confident of surviving relegation, and Burnley fans too, but the Black Cats have made an incredible return to the Premier League, and that can be seen in their recent displays.
Granit Xhaka, Robin Roefs, Omar Alderete, and Nordi Mukiele have all been inspired arrivals so far this season, and it is anyone’s guess how high the team’s ceiling is under Le Bris.
Sunderland fly through October thanks to Regis Le Bris
Despite kicking off October with Sunderland losing to Man United, with the Black Cats clearly stunned by the visit to Old Trafford, the rest of the month has been sensational for the newly promoted side.
Mukiele and a Ladislav Krejci own goal helped seal a 2-0 win over Wolves before they put to bed Enzo Maresca‘s Blues in front of a packed-out Stamford Bridge in the dying embers of the game.
Only five teams in the division have a better goal difference than Le Bris’ players, with the Frenchman clearly setting up his tactics perfectly for the jump from Championship to Premier League.

Of course, there was a lot of money spent during the summer transfer window, but there are very few deals which now look to be a waste of money, as the Black Cats only continue to rise up the table.
Premier League completely forget about Le Bris
The Premier League announced the four nominated candidates for October’s Manager of the Month, and they were Mikel Arteta, Ruben Amorim, Unai Emery, and Andoni Iraola.
Undoubtedly, all four of them have experienced a fantastic month with their teams, but Le Bris’ impact at the Stadium of Light appears to have been completely overlooked for the vote.
After narrowly winning promotion to the Premier League last season, beating Sheffield United in the play-off final, Sunderland are now above the likes of Man City and Liverpool.
That is an incredible feat all by itself, and had the Black Cats not had such a monumental set of results during October, they would not be where they are right now in the Premier League table.
