Regis Le Bris ‘positive’ that star ‘who can make a difference’ will be back for Wolves clash
Sunderland have received a major injury boost before their huge Premier League clash with Wolves.
Wolves currently sit bottom of the Premier League table, with just two points, and whilst Sunderland currently sit seven points above the bottom three, they will know these games could make all the difference come the end of the season.
Sunderland’s 2-0 defeat at Man United before the international break was just their second of the season which ended a four match unbeaten streak.
The Black Cats are sitting the highest of the three promoted club’s, with former Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka having impressed since his arrival.

Regis Le Bris provides Noah Sadiki update
During the international break Sunderland midfielder Noah Sadiki picked up an injury playing with the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Sadiki has started every Premier League match this season, and is forming a fine partnership with Xhaka in midfield which is behind Sunderland’s early success.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference before the Wolves games, as per BBC Sport [16 October], Le Bris gave a positive update on the 20-year-old.
“We checked Noah yesterday and he seems okay. We will see after the training sessions, today and tomorrow, if he will be available for this weekend – but we are positive,” Le Bris said.

“It’s still possible that his injury is worse than we think but, at the minute, he is okay. He has had this injury before so he knows how it evolves and how serious it is. It’s positive at the minute, but we will see.“
If required, Dan Neil, Luke O’Nien or Chris Rigg would be the most likely candidates to replace Sadiki in the side.
Le Bris though has already said Sadiki can ‘make a difference‘ for his side when he first joined the club, as per Sunderland.
Sunderland can match 57 year record against Wolves
The Wolves clash will provide Sunderland with further opportunity to climb the table, and potentially end the weekend in the European spots.
If Sunderland claim all three points it would mean they pick up 10 points from their opening four top-flight games at the Stadium of Light for the first time since the 1968-69 season.
The Black Cats are forming a solid foundation for survival at the Stadium of Light ahead of tougher fixtures to come against Chelsea and Arsenal.
Keeping key players fit though will also be crucial for Sunderland, as they have already proved they have more than enough in their starting XI to stay in the Premier League.
