Reliable journalist – Two signs that Celtic deal for PL attacker is getting close

Celtic have been handed a huge boost concerning their interest in Chelsea youngster Charly Musonda.
Simon Johnson, an Evening Standard journalist, noticed that the 21-year old did not take part in any of Chelsea’s warm-down drills, and was the first to leave Stamford Bridge following their 3-0 win over Newcastle:

It has widely been reported that many Premier League clubs were interested in signing the young Belgian on loan, but it appears he himself favours a move to Celtic Park.
The Scottish Sun reported that Musonda ‘liked’ a picture on Instagram suggesting he was close to finalising a loan deal to play under Brendan Rodgers.
The report also states that Celtic would prefer to permanently sign Musonda, yet Chelsea only want to loan the talented forward out.
Football Insider verdict:
Charly Musonda needs first team football, and it is clear that he can’t achieve that at Stamford Bridge just yet. Time to develop at Celtic Park could be just what the young Belgian needs, and the winning nature of the Hoops will fill the 21-year-old with confidence. Rodgers has a history of helping to nourish young talents, as evidenced with his time at Liverpool, so this matchup could benefit both parties. Although the Scottish Premier League does not offer the same competitive level as does the English Premier League, the game time he is more likely to find at Celtic will only help Musonda to develop.
In other Celtic transfer news, Football Insider considers three players that the Hoops must sell before the january window closes.
