Reliable journalist delivers major development about Leeds ace, fans will be ecstatic

Leeds have opened up disciplinary proceedings against Charlie Taylor, according to a reliable journalist.

BBC journalist Adam Pope has reported on his personal Twitter account that the Championship club have started disciplinary proceedings against their player after he refused to play for the club.

Manager Garry Monk revealed that the 23-year-old did not want to play for his side during their 1-1 draw against Wigan on the last day of the Championship season last Sunday.

Here is BBC reporter Pope delivering the major development about Taylor after Monk’s revelation:

Leeds ace Taylor has a contract at Elland Road until the summer, with speculation rife about his future at the club.

During the previous campaign, he was named the club’s Player of the Year under former boss Steve Evans.

However, this season, his game time has been cut short, mainly because of injuries as he only played 29 Championship matches during this campaign.

Since December, the club’s academy product only started four league matches for Garry Monk’s side, who missed out on the play-off places by five points.

Considering the manner in which he has treated his supporters, there is no doubt that the Elland Road faithful will be ecstatic that Taylor will now be disciplined by the club.

At this moment in time, he is still contracted to the club, with his contract officially set to expire at the end of June.

During his career at the Yorkshire outfit, Taylor played 104 matches in all competitions, scoring three goals added with this 13 assists.

In other Leeds news, this flop should not be offered a new contract by the club.
