Journalist: Tottenham to offload one of two attackers if they sign £25m-rated ace (not Janssen)
By Will Butcher
Tottenham will sell either Moussa Sissoko or Erik Lamela in the summer if they can complete a deal for Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha, according to a reliable journalist.
Transfer expert Dean Jones claimed in his Bleacher Report weekly column that Spurs are set to test Palace’s resolve once again after a £25million offer in January was considered.
Jones claims that if Mauricio Pochettino’s side can complete a deal for the former Manchester United star, then Lamela and Sissoko are at risk of being sold rather than flop striker Vincent Janssen.
Jones says it is not impossible both will be allowed to leave White Hart Lane, although it is more likely that one will be sold.
France international Sissoko, who starred for his country at Euro 2016 before joining Spurs on transfer deadline day in the summer, has managed just six league starts all season.

Former Roma attacker Lamela has also struggled this season, and has now being ruled out for the rest of the season after being pencilled in to undergo a hip operation on Saturday.
Spurs will look to sign Zaha in the summer to replace either Lamela or Sissoko, after scoring five goals and providing a further eight assists during his 27 outings this season.
Football Insider verdict:
Spurs must decide to sell Sissoko over Lamela, if they manage to bring Zaha to White Hart Lane after chasing the speed machine for the past year. Before his injury, which saw the Argentina international last feature back in October, Lamela was regarded as first choice under Pochettino. In just 14 outings, Spurs’ number 11 scored two goals and laid on another seven assists, whereas Sissoko has managed just four assists in 26 league and cup encounters. If Spurs are confident that Lamela can return to his brilliant best after going under the knife, Sissoko should be offloaded to make way for the potentially incoming Zaha.
In other Tottenham transfer news, fans are not impressed on Twitter after hearing their club were reportedly interested in this Arsenal defender.
