West Ham schedule Monday talks - report

West Ham boss Slaven Bilic will hold last minute talks with chairman David Sullivan on Monday in a bid to save his job and persuade the club to press on with signing William Carvalho, according to a report.
The Sun has revealed that the Hammers manager has been under scrutiny from the club’s hierarchy following a poor start to their Premier League campaign, and Sullivan will speak to the boss about the club’s future.
West Ham have failed to pick up a single point from their opening three games of the season, losing to Manchester United 4-0, Southampton 3-2, as well as another heavy defeat to Newcastle on Saturday when the side lost 3-0.
The newspaper has revealed on their website that the pair will be setting out a plan to improve the club’s performance and end their string of defeats after the international break.
It is understood that Bilic will use their series of disappointing results as further ammunition in order to convince the club to secure Sporting Lisbon’s defensive midfielder William Carvalho.

According to the Sun, London stadium sources have said that the senior members of the Hammers squad have let the Croatian boss down after visibly making a number of mistakes on the pitch.
Bilic, who was appointed manager of the London side back in 2015, has entered the final 12 months of his three-year-deal.
Spirits will no doubt be dampened, but with just a few days left of the transfer window Bilic and his bosses will need to act fast if they are to bolster their squad before deadline day.
