Report: Euro club ready second bid for Tottenham ace, another £2m will seal the deal
By Harry Sykes
Galatasaray are to make a second bid to sign Vincent Janssen from Tottenham after failing in their January pursuit, according to a report.
The Mail claim the Tuskish club have identified the Spurs striker as a key summer target as they aim to strengthen their front line.
It is said that Galatasaray have £15million to spend on a striker after being rebuffed in their attempts to sign Janssen during the winter window.
The Mail claim Tottenham would be reluctant to sell Janssen at a loss after forking out £17million to land him from AZ Alkmaar last summer.
This means that it would require another £2million, a relatively small sum for such an expensive transfer, to seal the deal.

Janssen joined Tottenham from AZ Alkmaar after a goal-drenched season in which he scored 32 goals in 49 matches, including 27 in 34 in the Dutch Eredivisie.
But the Holland international has failed to come anywhere close to matching those heights in England, with his 30 matches yielding just five goals, four of which have come from the penalty spot.
Janssen was once again overlooked for a place in the starting XI last weekend even though Harry Kane was unavailable for the Premier League home clash against Southampton.
Pochettino chose to field attacking midfielder Son Heung-Min as the spearhead of the attack, as goals from Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli secured a 2-1.
Galatasaray are third in the Turkish Super Lig and are keen to strengthen their squad to reclaim their mantle as the country’s top side.
Football Insider verdict:
Spurs should not give up on Janssen. Not this summer. Sure, he has fluffed his lines and lacks the mobility to send tremors through the best Premier League defences. But Harry Kane is no speed machine, either, and look at him. Pochettino and his coaches have a great record at developing players and Janssen needs another pre-season working with them on the training ground before thoughts should be entertained of his exit. He can still come good at White Hart Lane.
