Report: Liverpool duo set to secure last-minute moves away from Anfield

Two Liverpool starlets are set to leave Anfield, with Ovie Erajia heading to Sunderland on loan deal, whilst Lloyd Jones is heading to Luton on a permanent deal, according to a report.
The Liverpool Echo report that the academy pair are both set to finalise their respective moves before the window shuts this coming wednesday, the 31st.
Erajia could be in Klopp’s long-term plans, having featured eight times for the Reds last season, before suffering an injury that saw him drop back to the under-23’s squad.
However, the same cannot be said for Jones, who has never featured for the Reds under Klopp since joining the academy setup over six years ago.
Football Insider verdict:
Ovie Erajia will help Chris Coleman’s Sunderland team in their push to secure Championship football next season, and the first team football he is more likely to find at the Stadium Of Light will help him in his development. Klopp values the 20-year-old, so does not want him to leave just yet on a permanent basis. However, Jones never made the impact to warrant his Liverpool future, after numerous loan spells away from Anfield, the 22-year-old will have to hone his craft at Luton. Jones is also much more likely to see the pitch more whilst playing for the League Two outfit, so he can look forward to playing more competitive football this term.
In other Liverpool transfer news, the Reds could be set to battle it out with Arsenal for this European elite.
