Report names Leeds 20,000-a-week top earner, player can't even get in the squad

Leeds’ top earning player is on-loan Swansea player Modou Barrow, according to a report.
This places the winger ahead of the likes of Championship 22-goal top scorer Chris Wood, four-times Spain international Pablo Hernandez and defensive kingpins Pontus Jansson and Kyle Bartley.
Leeds are picking up the tab for Barrow in the second half of the season, which he is spending on loan after completing a deadline day move from Premier League club Swansea in the January window.
Supporters are likely to be unimpressed that the Yorkshire giants, who have a budget that is dwarfed by many of their Championship rivals, are paying top dollar to someone who can’t even get in the matchday squad.

Barrow was omitted from the matchday 18 for Leeds’ goalless draw against QPR on Saturday even though he available for selection.
The winger, 24, has made little impact at Elland Road despite dropping down a division in search of regular football.
Barrow has made just four substitute appearances for Garry Monk’s side and has found himself behind the likes of Souleymane Doukara, Alfonso Pedraza, Hadi Sacko and Stuart Dallas in the pecking order for wide forward roles.

Leeds remain on course for a place in the play-offs after consolidating their place at fourth in the Championship table with a haul of 66 points from 37 matches.
They are six points clear of seventh-placed Fulham, who secured a sensational 3-1 win at leaders Newcastle on Saturday.
In other Leeds team news, the club are to pounce and re-sign a 23-year-old after a £10million transfer is all but sealed.
