Everton, Newcastle United and Tottenham are all interested in signing Atletico Madrid forward Kevin Gameiro, according to a report.
Spanish outlet Don Balon claims that all three Premier League sides are ready to take a chance on the 30-year-old.
The report claims that the La Liga outfit are desperate to recoup the reported £28million which they paid for the France international during the 2016 summer transfer window.
Gameiro has reportedly fallen down the pecking order at the club and he has failed to convince Atletico manager Diego Simeone that he is capable of participating with the first-team on a regular basis.
Despite spending the majority of the current campaign on the substitutes bench, the forward has featured 10 matches for the Spanish side this season and he has still contributed with four goals and one assist in the process.
Gameiro has already demonstrated that he can deliver on the big stage as he played an integral role in helping fellow La Liga side Sevilla achieve three consecutive Europa League titles.
The attacker currently has three years remaining on his contract at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium.
Football Insider verdict
Gameiro has proved that he can produce the goods for his club over recent years and he would certainly be a fantastic addition to the Newcastle and Everton squads. The Magpies have suffered a dip in form due to a lack of firepower in front of goal and the Merseyside have struggled to replace Romelu Lukaku’s strikes from the previous campaign. The France international is the ideal candidate to make a difference with these respected clubs and potentially turn himself into a hero and help them steer clear of a potential relegation battle this season. Harry Kane is still the main man at Spurs and with Fernando Llorente playing second-fiddle to him, Gameiro will surely be uninterested in making a move to North London.
