Agreement in place: Radrizzani to complete mega-money Leeds deal that will shake the club to its core - report
By Alex Stevens
Andrea Radrizzani is ready to acquire full control of Leeds United as Massimo Cellino prepares to exit the club within weeks, according to a report.
The Telegraph claim Radrizzani is set to buy the 50 per cent of Leeds that belongs to fellow joint-owner Cellino to give him 100 per cent control of the club.
It is said that sports media mogul Radrizzani is in line to make his move following the promotion heartache suffered by the Yorkshire giants at the weekend.
The Telegraph report that the contract he agreed when he bought his half-share of Leeds in December includes a clause giving him the right to complete a 100 per cent takeover when this season ends next month.
The option for Radrizzani to assume total control was dependent on Leeds not reaching the Premier League.

The events of the weekend confirmed that Garry Monk’s side will finish the season in seventh and remain in the Championship next season.
The Telegraph report that Radrizzani must activate the option to complete what will be a multi-million pound deal by the end of June.
The controversial Cellino, who became the majority shareholder of Leeds when he bought into the club at the start of 2014, is now set to step aside and bring down the curtain on a stormy reign.
The 60-year-old is currently serving a 12-month FA ban from all football-related activity for breaching agent regulations in the transfer of Ross McCormack to Fulham.
Radrizzani is reportedly now in a position to make a momentous change that would have the knock-on effect of shaking the club to its core.
Cellino has ruled Leeds with an iron fist for the last three years and his appointments are all in place in senior positions at the club, including executives as well as the coaching staff led by Monk.
Radrizzani made his most significant move yet when it was announced by Leeds last Tuesday that his long-time ally Ivan Bravo, the former Real Madrid strategist, had been added to the club’s board of directors.
