Inter Milan are prepared to sell midfielder Marcelo Brozovic amid strong interest from Tottenham, according to a report.
Italian outlet Calcio Mercato claim that the Serie A club will let the 23-year-old leave for £17million but do not intend in selling him to rivals Juventus.
The report details that Tottenham and Chelsea have joined the Italian champions in expressing an interest in the Croatia international and are in the strongest position to sign the combative midfielder.
The Mail reported in August that Chelsea were close to signing Brozovic for £25million but a deal could not be completed in the summer transfer window.
Brozovic has made just two appearances at the start of the new campaign and is yet to complete a full 90 minutes for Inter.
Prior to his move to the Serie A giants, he played for Dinamo Zagreb, where he netted 13 goals in 96 appearances for Croatia’s biggest club.
Mauricio Pochettino is already blessed with several talented midfielders in his squad and may find it difficult to find room for Brozovic.
Spurs did recruit midfield enforce Victor Waynama in the summer to add to consistent performers Mousa Dembele and Eric Dier.
Brozovic has never experienced English football but could move to London if a deal can be negotiated.
In other Tottenham transfer news, Stan Collymore has named the two players the club should have signed instead of Vincent Janssen.
