Report: Tottenham ready bid for new Wilfried Zaha, club ready to fight off rivals
By Harry Sykes
Tottenham have joined the race to sign Blackpool attacker Bright Osayi-Samuel in the summer, according to a report.
The Sun claim the Premier League high flyers have been keeping close tabs on the highly rated teenager, 19, in recent weeks.
It is said that Tottenham are ready to make a bid for the player who has been compared to Crystal Palace sensation Wilfried Zaha.
Coincidentally, Mauricio Pochettino’s side have been strongly linked with a summer swoop for Zaha, who is rated in the £30million-plus bracket by his club.
Like the Ivory Coast international, Osayi-Samuel is a versatile attacker who can play anywhere across the forward line but is predominantly a right-winger.

He reportedly has no plans to sign a new Blackpool contract, which makes the fourth-tier outfit vulnerable to a swoop from a wealthier club who can offer him a more lucrative contract.
The Sun report that Everton and Aston Villa have sent scouts to watch the teenager in recent weeks, while there is also interest from Arsenal.
Osayi-Samuel has taken League Two by storm this season, scoring five goals and supplying three assists from 39 appearances while establishing himself as an indispensable member of the first-team squad.
Since making his first-team debut for the club in 2015, the Nigerian-born star has made 71 appearances in all competitions, which have yielded five goals and five assists.
In other Tottenham transfer news, this trio have snubbed mega-money transfer elsewhere to sign for Spurs.
