Tottenham and Liverpool are fighting to snap up Porto striker Moussa Marega, according to a report.
The Sun has claimed that the two Premier League giants are locked at the horns for the 25-year-old Mali international.
However, the report also states that top flight quartet Watford, Stoke, Crystal Palace and Sunderland are on his trail.
Marega has been in fantastic form while on loan at Vitoria Guimaraes in the Portuguese top flight scoring an impressive 10 goals in eight appearances, while also providing two assists.
The attacker still has four years left on his current contract at parent side Porto, but it is stated that he is rated at £6million.
Certainly within both Spurs and Liverpool’s price range, the two famous club’s could look to take a chance on the attacker with a relatively low outlet.
The north London club are currently struggling for goals without star striker Harry Kane and they have failed to win their last five matches in all competitions.
Meanwhile, Liverpool are in fine form in front of goal bagging an impressive 24 in their opening 10 fixtures of the new campaign.
Both teams are separated by just three points and two places in the top five of the Premier League table and the pair will have aspirations of winning the top flight title.
In other Tottenham transfer news, Spurs could return in January with a loan bid for Real Madrid attacking midfielder Isco.
