Final round of Celtic talks scheduled to seal third January signing - reliable journalist

Celtic and Chelsea are set to have a final round of talks ahead of Charly Musonda’s loan move to Parkhead, according to a reliable journalist.
Kristof Terreur, the English football correspondent for Belgian newspaper HLN, claimed on his personal Twitter account on Monday morning that the Bhoys are hoping to wrap up the signing of Musonda, 21, by the end of the day with the closing stages of talks scheduled for the coming hours.

The Belgium youth international has made the breakthrough for the Premier League side this season but his still found game time hard to come by, as he has only featured in three league games.
Musonda spent part of last season on-loan at Real Betis, but he only managed eight appearances before injuries lead to his return to Chelsea.
It has been widely reported that the Hoops are hoping to land Musonda on an 18-month deal having won the race to sign him ahead of teams across Europe.
Celtic have made two signings already this month in Marvin Compper and Lewis Morgan.
Chelsea attacker Musonda now appears close to becoming the third with just a few days to go before Wednesday’s transfer deadline.
Football Insider verdict
Hoops manager Brendan Rodgers will be hopeful that the last round of talks are successful, as he seems to be extremely eager to sign the Belgian attacking midfielder. The fact that Rodgers wants the player to join Celtic on an 18 month loan deal shows that he thinks Musonda will play a big part for the Bhoys in that time. The length of the loan could prove to be a sticking point though, particularly if Chelsea aren’t keen on a loan deal that lasts 18 months. With Celtic fans getting impatient about a lack of January signings, they will be hoping that the highly-rated Musonda is able to make the move to Glasgow.
