Revealed: Rangers land £20m+ windfall – more headed to Ibrox
Rangers have already earned over £20million from their Europa League campaign after booking their spot in the knockout stages, Football Insider can reveal.
The Glasgow giants secured top spot of Group C after their dramatic 3-2 win over Real Betis on Thursday evening.
Gers ended the group stage with 11 points after winning three and drawing two of their six matches.

As per Uefa’s distribution model for the 2023/24 season, Rangers have already earned over £20million from their European campaign, which is a huge sum for the club and likely to be around a quarter of their total revenues for the season.
Qualifying for the group stage is worth a flat fee of £3.1million while their results were worth an extra £2million with each win banking the club £540,000 and a draw worth £180,000.
Topping the group is also worth an extra £1million in prize money.
Rangers will take a share of Uefa’s £120million market pool budget, shared between clubs based on their nation’s broadcasting deal.
Uefa also distribute coefficient payments based on a club’s position in their ten-year ranking table – Rangers have 58 points placing them 27th.
The lowest-ranked team earns one share – worth £113,000 – while the top-ranked team will earn 32 shares worth over £4million.
Rangers revealed in their 2022 annual report that their run to the May 2022 Europa League final earned the club £30.5million in prize money and matchday revenue.

With three matches hosted at Ibrox in the group stage and additional prize money for topping the group, Football Insider calculates that Rangers have already banked over £20million from their Europa League campaign this season.
Qualification to the round of 16 would add an extra £1million to the prize pot, while a quarter-final spot is worth £1.5million.
