Revealed: Tottenham to tell defender to find a new club within weeks
Tottenham will tell defender Connor Ogilvie to find a new club in the coming weeks, Football Insider understands.
The 23-year-old has been in impressive form while on loan at League One club Gillingham but is out of contract at Spurs at the end of the season.
A Tottenham source has told Football Insider that the club have no plans to offer Ogilvie a new deal and will inform him he is free to find new employers.
Ogilvie was capped by England at Under-17s level but has never made a first-team appearance for the club he joined as a schoolboy.
He has had successful loan spells at Stevenage and Gillingham and has thrived in the second half of this season for the Kent club since moving from left-back to a new centre-back role.
Gillingham are expected to be among the Football League clubs eager to offer a long-term contract to the Waltham Abbey-born player, especially as their relegation fears were eased by a 3-1 win today over Plymouth.
In other Tottenham news, it can be REVEALED the club have secured a stunning multiple-million pound windfall heading straight to the transfer kitty.
