Revealed: Tottenham’s chances of signing Igor Thiago
Tottenham are looking for options to solve their centre-forward issues and have been linked to Brentford striker Igor Thiago.
With Dominic Solanke out injured and the likes of Randal Kolo Muani and Richarlison not performing, Spurs are in need of a new striker.
Thiago already has six Premier League goals in just 10 games for Brentford so far this season, attracting the attention of some top clubs.
Thomas Frank, who joined Tottenham from the Bees over the summer, is reportedly looking to raid his former side and bring in the Brazilian.

Keith Andrews makes Igor Thiago claim
Everton’s former chief Keith Wyness – who served as CEO at Goodison Park between 2004 and 2009 and now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs – believes that Thiago is very likely to remain at Brentford, despite the interest from Tottenham.
Speaking on the new edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, Wyness insisted that there’s no need for the West London side to sell players after their recent business.
Over the summer, Brentford saw Bryan Mbeumo join Manchester United, with Yoane Wissa completing a move to Newcastle United.
Wyness added that Bees boss Keith Andrews has already publicly confirmed that the club will not let Thiago leave in January.
He told Football Insider‘s Inside Track podcast: “Keith Andrews has already said publicly that there’s no way he’s going to be leaving the club.
“Look, they had a couple of players leave over the summer, Mbeumo and Wissa to United and to Newcastle. So I think that’s enough, and I think that the squad are seeing enough progress themselves that there’s no need for them to go. I don’t expect him to be moving at all at this stage.
“I don’t think Brentford are trying to be a selling club in any way at all at the moment. I think the new owners coming in are happy with the way things have settled. With those two big sales they did do, there’s no pressure financially to do it.
So I think that Brentford will try to strengthen. I don’t see Thiago moving at all.”
Tottenham linked with former Premier League star
Meanwhile, Tottenham have also been linked with Ivan Toney ahead of the January transfer window.

The former Brentford man is being chased by Premier League clubs who are in desperate need of a goal-hungry forward.
Sources told Football Insider that Everton are interested in signing Toney in January, given the disappointing output from Beto and Thierno Barry.
However, Tottenham will hope to win the race for the England international to help bolster their attacking ranks.
