Richard Keys shocked by what he saw Alisson do during Liverpool vs Nottingham Forest – ‘Amazing’
Richard Keys cannot believe that he spotted Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson telling manager Arne Slot to change his side’s tactics in their win over Nottingham Forest.
Liverpool emerged victorious over Forest at the City Ground on Sunday to remain well in with a chance of Champions League qualification alongside Chelsea and Man United.
The hosts looked the more likely to score throughout until Alexis Mac Allister popped up with a 97th-minute winner not long after he had seen one ruled out for handball.
Reds hero Alisson kept a third successive clean sheet in an impressive performance, as he made two saves and prevented 0.65 expected goals.
Liverpool fans are still divided over Slot‘s future after the scrappy nature of the win, however, and one moment that involved the Brazilian goalkeeper has raised eyebrows.
Richard Keys amazed by unseen Alisson and Arne Slot moment
In a moment that went unnoticed by many fans, Alisson was seen deliberating with Slot in the first half at the City Ground, just moments before the Dutchman changed his tactics and switched Dominik Szoboszlai into midfield and Curtis Jones to right-back.
Liverpool then looked more assured in the middle of the pitch before going on to win 1-0, with those that saw the interaction of the belief that the Brazilian convinced his manager to change his system.
Slot’s authority has now questioned by Keys in his latest blog, as he wrote: “Did I really see Alisson making changes on the pitch at Forest? There was one point where he ran to (Slot) and said something.
“I don’t know what, but very soon after, Szoboszlai moved into midfield and Curtis Jones went to right-back.

“I can only imagine that’s what the keeper said he wanted to happen – and it did. I’ve never seen that before. Amazing. And perhaps indicative of what’s happening at Liverpool right now?”
