Richarlison posts brilliant response to Tottenham fan criticism in new message

Tottenham forward Richarlison seemingly believes he’s the solution to his side’s recent poor run of form in a recent social media message to a fan.

The 27-year-old made his first Tottenham start in their 3-2 win over Hoffenheim since scoring the winner in their 1-0 Europa League win over AZ Alkmaar at the end of October.

Ange Postecoglu’s side secured the victory thanks to an early opener from James Maddison and a brace from captain Heung-Min Son.

Richarlison was replaced by Spurs wonderkid Mikey Moore in the 56th minute, having completed just five passes, three touches in the opposition box, and zero chances created.

Football Insider revealed (January 17) that the Brazilian is looking to leave the North London club, telling friends that he has his heart set on a move away.

Richarlison determined to make a difference as poor Tottenham form continues

The forward has struggled so far this season, starting just two of his 10 games across all competitions, scoring three goals, and providing one assist in his 342 minutes of action.

Richarlison appears to have supreme confidence in his ability despite his limited chances so far, responding to a fan on TikTok who raised concerns about the club’s league position, saying: “Don’t worry bro, I play now.”

Spurs are currently placed down in 15th after their 22 Premier League games, failing to win in the league for six games, five of which have been defeats.

Postecoglu’s side host Ruud van Nistelrooy’s struggling Leicester City side on Sunday (January 26), hoping to put their poor form behind them.
