Ridvan Yilmaz could exit Rangers in January after latest – Hutton
Alan Hutton has claimed Ridvan Yilmaz could look to leave Rangers on loan in January.
However, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Gers right-back said Giovanni van Bronckhorst will try and get him back in the team given the amount of money they spent.
According to Turkish outlet Takvim, reported in the Daily Record (9 October), Galatasaray have added the 21-year-old to a wish list of January recruits.
The left-back joined the Ibrox club in the summer from Besiktas in a deal worth £5.5million but has struggled to dislodge Borna Barisic from the starting XI.
Yilmaz has made just four appearances for Van Bronckhorst’s side so far this season.
Hutton suggested that if things do not improve Yilmaz might look for an exit.
“It is a strange situation,” he told Football Insider.
“I think Rangers put out a lot of money in transfer fees to bring him in.
“I think it has taken him a little bit longer to settle.
“We are going to see more of him hopefully in the coming weeks, there are a lot of games coming up so there is opportunity for him to shine.
“I think if it goes the way it is going and Barisic is going to be a regular starter then he might look to go out on loan.

“But something in the back of my mind tells me that Rangers have paid all this money for him they are going to try and get him in the team.
“Hopefully in the upcoming weeks we will see a little bit more of him and he can prove his worth to Rangers.“
