Swansea manager Paul Clement has praised his opposite number manager Mauricio Pochettino at Tottenham ahead of the club’s meeting on Wednesday night.

Spurs travel to the Liberty Stadium for a Premier League clash and have breathed new life into the title race after result went their way at the weekend.

The north London club are seven points adrift of table toppers Chelsea and are now seen as their man rivals for the title.

Argentinian boss Pochettino is regarded as one of the best managers in the top flight and has become a huge favourite at White Hart Lane since his arrival.

Spurs will be hoping they can stretch their five-game winning run when they face Swansea and Clement has praised his upcoming opponents.

He believes that the pressure is now on Chelsea after their 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace, which has reminded people that the title is far from decided.

“Pochettino has done a really good job there. They’re an exciting team. The Chelsea results will have given them belief,” Clement said, as quoted by the club’s official Twitter account.

Pochettino has quickly emerged as one of the most liked managers in England and he just needs silverware to complete his success at Spurs.

He moved to the Londoners in 2014 after a brief spell experiencing Premier League football with Southampton.

The former Argentina international has now become a successful manager and has manage to help transform Spurs into one of England’s leading clubs.

They finished third in the league table last season and are currently second, but have real aspirations of ending the campaign at the summit.
