Rob Holding deletes all mentions of Crystal Palace after bust-up
Crystal Palace defender Rob Holding has removed all references to the club on his Instagram after reportedly being frozen out by manager Oliver Glasner.
The 28-year-old central defender joined Palace from fellow London side Arsenal in the summer of 2023 for a fee of £4million but has only made one appearance – in a 3-0 League Cup defeat to Man United.
It was a busy summer transfer window for Palace as they signed three new centre-backs in Chadi Riad, Maxence Lacroix, and Trevoh Chalobah.
They also managed to keep hold of captain Marc Guehi after Newcastle United failed to meet their £70million valuation with four separate bids.

Speaking in his post-match interview following their 1-1 draw with Chelsea, Glasner confirmed that Holding is training on his own after being banished from the first-team set-up.
“Rob (Holding) is training individually at the moment”, Glasner said.
“We will talk together. He knows the reason, but it is something that stays between me and Rob. Nothing public.”

Palace are yet to travel outside of London as they sit in 16th place with just one point from their opening three Premier League games.
Defeats to Brentford and West Ham, followed by a draw away at Chelsea mean their next game at home to Leicester could prove pivotal.
