Savage: This Tottenham first teamer is the most under-rated player in PL
By Dominic Toner
Robbie Savage believes that Tottenham’s central midfielder Mousa Dembele is the most under-rated player in the Premier League.
The 29-year-old is currently a crucial component in the Spurs side and a big favourite under Argentinian manager Mauricio Pochettino.
He played a huge role during the club’s third-placed finish in the Premier League last season and is now hoping to clinch the title.
Dembele has featured in 17 appearances this season and forged a strong partnership alongside team-mate Victory Wanyam in the midfield.
Savage has hailed the Belgian international as hugely under-rated following his performances for the north London club.

“Dembele the most under-rated player in the Premier League is brilliant,” Savage said, as quoted by BBC Radio 5 Live.
Dembele moved to White Hart Lane in 2012 from Fulham and has racked up 175 appearances for the club.
The combative midfielder is a versatile player that has the qualities to both defend and attack, something that makes him a unique opponent to play against.
Spurs recently defeated title rivals Chelsea 2-0 at home and Dembele showed his power by getting the better of N’Golo Kante and Nemanja Matic in the midfield.
He is expected to be named in the starting XI on Saturday and will be a crucial player as they face Manchester City in the league.
In other Tottenham news, Thierry Henry has expressed his admiration for the club’s attacking midfielder.
