Robbie Savage predicts Liverpool v Manchester City
By Harvey Byrne
Robbie Savage believes Liverpool will fall to a defeat against Manchester City in Sunday afternoon’s Premier League encounter.
The Merseyside giants will make the short trip across to Manchester where they will take on Pep Guardiola’s side in what is expected to be an evenly matched contest.
When the club’s last met on New Years eve, Liverpool ran out 1-0 victors through a Georginio Wijnaldum effort.
However, Savage has tipped a different outcome this time, predicting a win in the direction of the Manchester club, as cited by William Hill’s official Twitter account.
“Man City v Liverpool”, started Savage, speaking to William Hill.

“Man City to bounce back and win against the Reds.”
Liverpool are currently enjoying some good form after a tough start to 2017 with three victories from their last four matches, including wins against Arsenal and Tottenham.
Meanwhile, City are indifferent form with two wins, a draw and a defeat, which saw them crash out of the Champions League in midweek.
Guardiola’s team are also better on the road than they are at home with just 26 points from 13 league matches at the Etihad, meaning the Reds are in with a strong chance of returning to Liverpool with all three points.
In other Liverpool news, Michael Owen has also predicted the Reds’ weekend match.
