Robbie Savage predicts Liverpool v Sunderland

By Harvey Byrne

Outspoken pundit and former Premier League footballer Robbie Savage has tipped Liverpool to pick up all three points in Monday afternoon’s clash with Sunderland.

The Merseyside giants are gearing up to face the Black Cats at the Stadium of Light in a fixture which sees second take on 18th.

Jurgen Klopp’s side are enjoying a good run of form and Savage believes there won’t be any surprises on Monday.

“Liverpool, great record at the Stadium of Light,” told Savage to betting company William Hill. “Winning three of their last games, make it four.”

Savage made an error with the Reds winning their last three matches, as they have actually won their last four in the league.

Victories over Manchester City, Stoke, Everton and Middlesbrough has seen Liverpool remain hot on the heels of a dominant Chelsea team.

Six points are currently separating the Reds from Antonio Conte’s side and Klopp could bring his side within three points of the Blues on Monday.

The London side are preparing to face local rivals Tottenham at White Hart Lane on Wednesday, who are also flying in the league.

Spurs will be sure to provide a harder test than what Sunderland will for Liverpool and it is now an opportunity for the Reds to continue their good form and make up lost ground.

In other Liverpool news, the Reds are ready to pounce with a £20million bid for this attacker.
