Roberto Firmino has this message for Everton fans ahead of Liverpool clash
By Amir Mir
Roberto Firmino has stated that “only one club can control this city” ahead of Liverpool’s clash with Everton at Goodison Park.
The Merseyside duo will meet on Monday night looking to earn the first bragging rights of the season in what will be a highly charged game.
Jurgen Klopp’s side come into this fixture being the highest goalscorers in the Premier League with 40 goals in their 16 games.
The German will be hoping their high pressing will disrupt their rivals and with it maintain their unbeaten record against the Toffees – Everton last beat Liverpool in 2010.
Prior to the game forward Firmino had this stern message for supporters as posted on his personal Twitter account.

The last time these two met at Goodison Park it finished 1-1, but that was under the stewardship of former Merseyside managers Roberto Martinez and Brendan Rodgers.
Both have since been sacked by the club, with former Barcelona player Ronald Koeman and former Dortmund boss Klopp taking over at their respective clubs.
German Klopp has tasted this derby before when he guided his side to a thumping 4-0 win at Anfield in April.
But this will be the first time Dutchman Koeman takes charge of this clash as he will be hoping his side can build from their 2-1 win against Arsenal on Tuesday night.
The three points against the Gunners meant the Goodison Park club remained unbeaten on home soil this term.
In other Everton news, despite behind unloved by his manager this Toffees ace can tear Liverpool to shreds.
