Roberto Firmino tipped to quit Liverpool after Klopp decision in last 24 hours – pundit
Roberto Firmino will not be a Liverpool player in two years time.
That is the view of 2000 European Golden Shoe winner Kevin Phillips, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the 30-year-old’s contract situation on Merseyside.
Firmino has less than 16 months left on his contract at Anfield, like fellow forwards Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah.

The Brazil international has endured a stop-start season for the Reds this term because of three muscle injuries.
However, the forward started Sunday’s 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest after Jurgen Klopp decided to rest Mane, Salah and Luis Diaz.
When asked if Klopp’s team selection hinted at a new pecking order, Phillips told Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs: “Moving forward, I think he’ll go.
“When I look at Diaz, Mane, Salah and Jota, Firmino is the one for me that is likely to move on.
“Will Liverpool offer him a new deal? Will he still be there in two years time? Personally, I don’t think he will.
“I think he will want to move on and try something different. He will probably move on, if I’m being honest.
“If he was to come up for sale I think every team in the Premier League would be interested. They’d want him in their side.”

An Anfield source told Football Insider last month (12 February) that the club intend to offer Firmino a new deal this year.
Klopp remains a huge admirer of the Brazil international.
