Robertson, Chiesa and Elliott react as Liverpool make Anfield exit announcement
Liverpool stars Andy Robertson, Harvey Elliott and Federico Chiesa have responded to the confirmed departure of a teammate.
Having originally joined the club at youth level, Republic of Ireland international Caoimhin Kelleher has been part of the Reds first-team setup for the past several years.
During that period, Kelleher has performed well for Liverpool on a number of occasions when stepping in for first-choice shot-stopper Alisson.
However, the 26-year-old has never been able to actually usurp the Brazilian in the pecking order between the posts.

Caoimhin Kelleher seals Liverpool exit
Earlier this season, Football Insider reported that Kelleher wanted to leave Liverpool this summer in order to play more regular first-team football.
He is now going to get the chance to do that elsewhere in the Premier League, after it was announced on Tuesday (3 May) that the goalkeeper has completed a permanent move to Brentford.
Kelleher has put pen to paper on a five-year contract with the London club, securing his future their until the end of the 2029/30 season.

Having complted that move, the Republic of Ireland international is set to replace Bayer Leverkusen-bound Mark Flekken at Brentford, as their first choice between the posts.
Taking to Instagram to confirm the news of Kelleher’s exit, the official Liverpool account issued a statement that read: “Caoimhin Kelleher has today completed a permanent transfer to Brentford.
“Everyone at Liverpool FC thanks Caoimhin for his contribution to the club’s recent success and wishes him the best of luck for the future.”
In response, a number the goalkeeper’s now former teammates such as Andy Robertson, Federico Chiesa, Wataru Endo and Harvey Elliott showed their support by liking that post.
Brentford complete excellent business with goalkeeper signing
Football Insider Verdict
This move to allow Kelleher to complete a move to Brentford certainly seems to be a sensible one for all concerned.
For the player himself, it looks as though he will finally get the chances he wants and deserves to play first-team football on a regular basis.
Brentford meanwhile are getting a goalkeeper who has already proven he can be relied on to be operate as a first-choice shotstopper in the Premier League, which is what they needed this summer.
With Giorgi Mamardashvili set to finally complete his move to Liverpool this summer as well, they should have no concerns about leaving themselves short in goal either, ensuring this works well for all parties.
