Robinson and Alvarez react as Fulham star Raul Jimenez previews next ‘adventure’
Fulham striker Raul Jimenez has issued a new update looking ahead to his next challenge, prompting a reaction from teammate Antonee Robinson and West Ham midfielder Edson Alvarez.
The 34-year-old enjoyed a solid season with Marco Silva‘s side, scoring 14 goals in 43 appearances in all competitions.
That helped the Cottagers to an 11th place finish in the final Premier League table, as well as making it to the quarter finals of the FA Cup.
Although the club campaign may be over, there is still more work for the Fulham striker to get through over the summer.

Raul Jimenez set for further Mexico action
With the Premier League season having finished, Jimenez has recently been in action for Mexico, featuring in a defeat to Switzerland and win over Turkey in two international friendlies.
The striker will now remain with his national team for the next weeks as they compete in the Gold Cup, starting with group stage games against the Dominican Republic, Suriname and Costa Rica.
Taking to Instagram to preview that tournament, Jimenez posted a picture of himself in Mexico’s shirt for the competition, with the caption: “All ready to start our adventure in the Gold Cup.”
Injury means Fulham ace Robinson will miss the tournament for the USA, but the left-back showed his support for his teammate by liking that post.
Jimenez’s Mexico teammate Alvarez also did the same, with the midfielder hoping to produce stronger performances than the ones that have seen West Ham fans calling for him to be sold recently.
Fulham will want striker back fit and fresh
Football Insider Verdict
Mexico will be among the favourites to lift the trophy in the Gold Cup, meaning it could be some time before Jimenez is back at Fulham yet.
That will be a concern for the Cottagers, since it means that even after this long season, he will not have much of a chance for a break before the start of the 2025/26 campaign.
However, Football Insider understands that Fulham striker Rodrigo Muniz is a target for Leeds United in the summer transfer window.
Should that deal happen, there could be even more pressure on Jimenez to lead the line and get the goals that Silva’s side at least at the start of next season.
With that in mind, those at Craven Cottage will be hopeful that the exploits of Mexico at the Gold Cup do not take too much of a toll on their striker.
