Robinson issues intriguing verdict on Jude Bellingham joining Man City after source’s update today – ‘wow’

Paul Robinson has claimed Man City could sign Jude Bellingham and keep hold of star midfielders Bernardo Silva and Ilkay Gundogan.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Spurs and England number one does not believe there has to be exits from the Etihad to make room for Bellingham, 19.

Liverpool, Real Madrid and Man City are the frontrunners for the signature of Bellingham next year.

Liverpool

Sources have told Football Insider (31 December) that Bellingham’s father wants him to move to Anfield next summer but the player has had his head turned by the strong interest o Man City and Real Madrid.

Pep Guardiola is blessed with a number of star midfielders but the futures of Bernardo Silva and Gundogan are uncertain11.

When asked by Football Insider if one or both would likely leave if Bellingham was to arrive, Robinson said: “A lot has been said about Bernardo Silva and Gundogan’s future.

“But, I don’t think Jude Bellingham’s arrival would have any consequences for Gundogan or Bernardo Silva. I think they have the room to house all three of them.

Man City

“Man City are stockpiling the world’s best players. The way Pep Guardiola rotates his team I’m sure there would be enough game time for all of them. They could even play in a midfield three together. Imagine that.

“If City were to get Bellingham, wow. If they had Haaland and Bellingham for the next three, four seasons they would take some catching. It would be a big worry for the rest of the Premier League.”

In other news, Kieran Maguire has claimed Man City are ready to join forces with Uefa as they ‘go to war’ against Fifa.
