Robinson suggests when Kane may play for Tottenham again after Nuno surprise
Paul Robinson has rubbished Nuno Espirito Santo’s claim Harry Kane could feature for Tottenham against Manchester City on Sunday.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Spurs keeper insisted the striker needs to patch up his relationship with the club if he is to play for them again.
As quoted by Sky Sports (August 9th), Nuno claimed Kane will be available for selection when Spurs play host to City on August 15th.
Kane has not played in any of Spurs’ pre-season matches after returning to training on Saturday (7th August).
He is reportedly quarantining at Spurs Lodge and completing individual training ahead of the new season.
Nuno revealed he was set to hold socially distanced talks with Kane on Monday.

The Portuguese boss also insisted he would consider the hitman for selection.
However, Robinson ruled out any chance of the England hitman facing City.
He told Football Insider’s Dylan Childs: “Harry has had no game time in pre-season with the new manager or any of the new players around him.
“The relationship between him and the club must be fixed before he can even think about pulling on the jersey again.
“Looking at the Christian Eriksen situation, players are never the same when they are unhappy and coming off the bench.
“I think it was the manager making a point. He was showing to City that he is a Spurs player. ‘He is registered to us and we pay his wages’.
“I don’t think for one minute that Harry Kane will play against Manchester City at the weekend.”
