Robinson unimpressed as worrying Son footage emerges from Tottenham
Paul Robinson has insisted Son Heung-min would not have been the only Tottenham player “upset” by Sunday’s defeat to Manchester United.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former White Hart Lane number one empathised with the ‘frustrated’ 28-year-old after a performance that was “not good enough” from Jose Mourinho’s side.
Tottenham’s hopes of finishing in the top four suffered a major blow last weekend following a 3-1 defeat at home to Manchester United.
Speaking to club media after the loss, Son cast a forlorn figure and apologised wholeheartedly to fans for the result and performance.
The Lilywhites are now six points off the Champions League spots with seven games remaining.
Robinson claimed Spurs should be beating Manchester United when you look at both teams on paper.

“Sonny is a very passionate person,” he told Football Insider.
“He loves winning football matches and the defeat on Sunday was very difficult to take and he will not be the only one upset by the result.
“When you look at that Spurs team, you would expect them to beat Manchester United or at least be a lot closer than they were. The took the lead as well so you can understand Sonny’s frustrations. It was not good enough.”

Speaking on Sunday, Son said: “I really don’t know what to say, I’m really sorry about it and feel bad and with the passion from outside this stadium, those supporting us,
“I know it’s really disappointing. I think they are more disappointed than us, so I feel really bad and really sorry about it. It’s a really sad afternoon.”
